SALVATION

To be Born Again, You Must...

1. ACCEPT GOD'S WORD: THAT HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS TO GIVE YOU AN ABUNDANT LIFE. "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish; but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). "I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10).

2. ACCEPT GOD'S WORD: THAT YOU ARE A SINNER; THAT THIS SEPARATES YOU FROM GOD; THAT YOU MUST TRULY REPENT, or "turn away" from sin. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23). "For the wages of sin are death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23). The Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to REPENTANCE."
(2 Peter 3:9).

3. ACCEPT GOD'S WORD: THAT THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS IS GOD'S ONLY PROVISION FOR MAN TO GET RID OF SIN."...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7). "But God commandeth His love toward us in that when we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).

4. ACCEPT GOD'S WORD: THAT JESUS CHRIST IS OUR ONLY CONTACT WITH GOD. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man can cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6) "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5).

5. RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOUR AND LORD BY YOUR PERSONAL INVITATION. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on him name." (John 1:12). "Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I WILL COME IN TO HIM..." (CHRIST SPEAKING IN REVELATION 3:20).

Will you receive Christ right now? Would you like to be forgiven for your sins and live with God forever?...Ask Him into your life today. There is GOOD NEWS and it is this: no matter what may be wrong in your life, and no matter whether it is your fault or not, God still loves you. You don't have to keep secrets from God, He knows everything, and He loves you as you are. If you have done something wrong, no matter how terrible, just ask Him to forgive you. He is longing for you to give Him the chance! No matter what punishment we may think we deserve, Jesus has taken it on for us, when He died on the cross. He died and came back to life: it's as if death were a prison, but Jesus broke out, and left the door open, so that we could come out too, free from the penalty of sin. Just come to Jesus Christ. Come with your sin. Come as you are. Believe what He says in the Bible. If you are not sure how, talk to a Christian friend, or get in touch with us. We'd love to hear from you, and we won't pressure you in any way. Just pray something like this and let Jesus be your Lord and Saviour:

Dear Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died on the cross in my place for my sins and rose from the dead to give me salvation. I truly repent of my sins, I turn my back on them right now and look to you. I ask you to forgive me anything I have done wrong, and anything I haven't done right. I now accept you into my life as my Lord and my personal Savior, trusting You alone to give me eternal life and a relationship with You. Take control of my life, keep me from evil and make me the kind of person you want me to be. And help me to love you more and more. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you asked Jesus Christ into your life or if you are reconciling your relationship with God, we would love to hear from you and help you know more about this new life. Please send a confidential message to our pastor, one of our deacons or anyone on our staff and share your good news with us. God bless you!
